What kind of work may be involved? Production of conveyor belts and general fabrication. Installation of conveyor belts (both lightweight & heavyweight applications). Joining belts by hot vulcanizing, cold bonding, and fastener methods. Rubber lining and fabrication of rubber. Repair and service of conveyor belts, assisting on-site work as required. Quality control of manufactured product. Accurately measuring and cutting a variety of conveyor belts and hoses. Checking inwards goods, dispatch of goods as required. Regular use of equipment and machinery e.g. Vulcanizing Press Machine, High Frequency Welding Machine, Teflon Belt Machine etc. Ideal skills & experience: Excellent mechanical aptitude and verbal communication. Reliable, team player attitude: willing to travel outside of the standard territory to support other Motion Conveyance service teams. Available to work after-hours shifts and callouts. Valid driver's licence. Great customer service skills. Able to follow procedures, systems and solve problems. Physically fit to meet the requirements of the role. Strong awareness and adherence to Safety & Wellbeing practises to ensure you and your teammates are safe at all times about Health & Safety. What is in it for you?
