ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join GCM SOLUTION SDN BHD in a full-time position based in Lunas, Kedah. This role is fundamental to our financial operations, as you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting our finance team in delivering timely and precise financial reporting. The Accounts Executive plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial information and supporting the strategic decision-making process across the organisation. Key responsibilities Recording and processing daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis Preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including follow-up on outstanding payments Processing payroll information and ensuring timely salary payments to employees Supporting the audit process by preparing supporting documentation and schedules Liaising with external stakeholders such as banks, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records and reporting Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures What we're looking for Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting principles Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and GST/SST compliance Excellent numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail Strong organisational abilities and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement What we offer Competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience Opportunities for professional development and training in accounting practices and software A supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued Clear career progression opportunities within the accounting and finance department Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance About us GCM SOLUTION SDN BHD is a committed finance and accounting solutions provider serving businesses across Malaysia.
