About the Project Te Pae o Tararua - Ōtaki to North of Levin (Ō2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, while increasing transport choices for a growing population. The project is being delivered in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and Horowhenua District Council. This is a transformative infrastructure project being delivered using a two-alliance model. Our shared project principles include treading lightly on the whenua, building strong partnerships, and delivering an enduring legacy. We’re looking for great people to join us on this unique journey. About the role: Gain the skills and knowledge to work safely onsite and develop confidence in health and safety for yourself and others Develop confidence using tools and machinery General building works Helping other team members with all aspects of construction, pipe work and general labouring jobs. Level ground, trenches and lay pipes or cables Assist with pours and finish concrete Install and uninstall scaffolding when required Move equipment, plant and materials Clean up worksites. About You You will need either NCEA Level 2 or completed the Level 2 Civil Infrastructure Works Must have civil infrastructure experience. Current New Zealand Driver’s License Have a good work ethic and great punctuality Have good time management skills Knowledge and understanding of site health & safety Have an interest in the construction industry Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights Don’t tick all the boxes but still keen?
