Job Overview QA & QC Supervisor will oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that all skincare products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves supervising the QA/QC team, developing and implementing quality procedures, and working closely with other departments to maintain and improve product quality. Roles & Responsibilities Perform product & sampling inspection procedures for incoming goods (Finished Goods & Merchandize products) with the inventory department, ensuring product quality in accordance with QA/QC protocols within the given timeframe prior to distribution and/or launch. Study the feasibility of production and collaborate with the procurement department to verify and audit potential OEM, suppliers, partners (both local and overseas) to match with NPD requirements. Review, approve and record all supporting documents relating to product quality, including import/export documents, product specifications/SDS/COA upon receiving, product claims on label in compliance to regulation & FDA, licenses, pre-production samples, and/or other relevant information. Establish standards for materials, production processes, and product quality. Able to propose and implement contingency solutions in the event of an unexpected ADHOC situation due to product quality issues/defects. Coordinate and monitor closely with cross functional team to reduce customer complaints. Oversee routine testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Investigate and resolve any quality issues or defects. Other relevant tasks assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's or master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Science, or related fields. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in QA/QC in product manufacturing processes. Knowledge and experience in standard manufacturing/internal audit within the cosmetics industry is highly desirable. Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese language is highly desirable. Flexible and agile to time restraints and/or changes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
