The IT Systems Director (Clearing & Settlement Systems) is responsible for leading the architecture, development, and delivery of mission-critical post-trade technology platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across the full software development lifecycle. Description As an IT Systems Director (Clearing & Settlement Systems), your main responsibilities will include: Leading the design, development, and implementation of post-trade technology solutions. Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security to meet operational needs. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver technology initiatives. Overseeing system upgrades and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Identifying and mitigating potential risks in post-trade systems. Managing budgets and resources for ongoing and upcoming technology projects. Monitoring industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for post-trade systems. Profile A successful IT Sytems Director (Clearing & Settlement Systems) should have: Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of relevant experience in system design and development 5+ years in a management and/or technical leadership capacity, with proven experience leading developers and owning delivery outcomes. A strong background in IT and post-trade systems within the financial services industry. Experience in leading technology projects with a focus on post-trade operations. Proficiency in system design, development, and implementation. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
