Office Coordinator – Domestic Violence Legal Service Administrative Office 5 (AO5) - $93,674 - $98,332 plus Superannuation 2 Year Contract Darwin About the Domestic Violence Legal Service: The Domestic Violence Legal Service (DVLS) is a specialised standalone service operating under the auspices of Legal Aid NT, providing information, education, advocacy, referral, legal and social support, legal advice, and legal representation services to victims of domestic violence in the Darwin and Greater Darwin area. About the role: Under the supervision of the Managing Solicitor, manage, coordinate and supervise the provision of administrative services, including the day to day administrative operations of the DVLS office. About you: You have high-level administrative and secretarial skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality, solve problems and exercise sound judgement when managing sensitive matters. You will have demonstrates experience to lead a team and manage administrative staff within the Domestic Violence Legal Service. You are adaptable, flexible and resilient, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You have effective time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads while managing competing deadlines. You have highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including conflict resolution skills, and the ability to communicate, liaise and build effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You can communicate effectively with vulnerable people from diverse backgrounds, including culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and First Nations peoples.
