POSITION: Head of Secondary Mathematics Department CAMPUS: Bangkok, Thailand (Campus 64) WEBSITE: https://anglosingapore.ac.th/64/ START DATE: September/October 2026 Job Overview Lead a high-performing Secondary Mathematics Department within a well-established international school in Bangkok. Drive academic excellence across the Secondary programmes, including IGCSE, A Level, and/or Further Mathematics (Cambridge and/or Edexcel), while mentoring teachers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Role Lead and manage the Secondary Mathematics Department. Teach Secondary Mathematics, including IGCSE, A Level and/or Further Mathematics (Cambridge and/or Edexcel). Provide academic leadership, mentoring, and professional development for Mathematics teachers. Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, and student achievement across the department. Develop and review curriculum, schemes of work, and assessment practices. Monitor student progress and implement strategies to maximise academic outcomes. Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to achieve school improvement goals. Promote innovation while maintaining a structured, academically rigorous learning environment. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent). Minimum 3 years' experience teaching Secondary Mathematics, including IGCSE and A Level. Previous experience as a Head of Department, Curriculum Leader, or similar leadership role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Cambridge and/or Edexcel Mathematics curricula. Experience leading curriculum development and mentoring teaching staff. Familiarity with, or willingness to adopt, Singapore Mathematics approaches. Native-level English proficiency with excellent communication and leadership skills.
