About the role We have a permanent long-term vacancy available for an Air Conditioning Technician/Heat Pump Installer. The work we undertake covers a variety of installations, as well as commissioning, repairs and maintenance, service contracts for domestic and commercial clients. We carry out work to a high standard and strive always to provide a quality product and service. Key responsibilities Installation of split, ducted, cassette and multi systems Pipe-fitting, welding, ductwork installation Commissioning and Testing Service and Maintenance of commercial and domestic systems Diagnosis and Repair of HVAC and Refrigeration Systems About you Background knowledge and experience in HVAC servicing, repairs, and installations 4-5 Years' Relevant Work Experience NZ Drivers Licence is essential Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning would be beneficial Approved Handler/Filler Certificates an advantage Electrical Work Certification an advantage Be self-motivating, and able to work unsupervised Be able to diagnose technically challenging situations using appropriate equipment Exhibit a high level of quality in their workmanship Have excellent communication skills both written and oral
