Commercial | Industrial | Civil – Sydney, NSW Up to $5m per project We are a well-established Sydney-based commercial/industrial/civil construction company delivering projects up to $5m across NSW. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team for an immediate start . This is a hands-on role – you’ll run your own jobs end‑to‑end, managing aspects of contracts administration and project delivery while enjoying the support of a dedicated team including CA, Project Coordinator, Site Managers, Safety Officer, and reporting to the Program Manager. The Role You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of multiple projects (typically $1m–$5m), including: Managing projects from award through to handover – commercial, industrial and small civil works Full contracts administration: Head contract and subcontract management Letting and negotiation of subcontracts and supply agreements Variations, progress claims, EOTs, RFI management Cost control, forecasting, budgets and cashflow Programming and short-term planning in conjunction with site teams Coordination with site managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients Quality, safety and environmental compliance in line with company systems Client and stakeholder management, including meetings, reporting and handover documentation You’ll be office-and-site based in Sydney, with visits to projects as required. About You Self starter and help across the organisation as priorities flex Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator / Project Manager in construction Proven track record delivering commercial/industrial and/or civil projects up to $5m Strong understanding of Australian Standards contracts and NSW construction legislation Confident with cost reporting, programming and contract correspondence Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to build solid relationships with clients and subcontractors Degree or trade background in construction, civil engineering or related discipline (preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates) Current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights What We Offer immediate start available Competitive salary package commensurate with experience comprehensive admin/accounts support; first-class QWHSE accredited systems; professional digital management platforms Stable, long-term pipeline of work across commercial, industrial and civil sectors Direct access to senior management and quick decision-making Supportive team culture with genuine autonomy and responsibility A package including base, superannuation, various allowances, and other potential options will be proposed, reviewed, discussed, negotiated, and agreed with the successful candidate and the base listed here is a guide.
