Fleet Tyre Service Operator

About the role This is a hands-on role, primarily working from our fleet service truck and providing onsite tyre services to our customers. Working in a friendly country township environment. The role will be predominantly focused on agricultural vehicles, light trucks and commercial fleets, along with workshop-based tyre duties when required. The successful applicant will be someone who enjoys working independently, is confident dealing with customers and takes pride in providing a high level of service. Key responsibilities Operating our fleet service truck and carrying out onsite tyre servicing Tyre fitting, repairs, inspections and maintenance Working primarily with agricultural machinery, agricultural vehicles, light trucks and commercial vehicles Carrying out workshop tyre duties when required Providing professional and friendly customer service onsite Managing your daily workload and working efficiently while unsupervised Maintaining the fleet truck, equipment and work areas to a high standard Building strong relationships with existing fleet customers Developing and maintaining your allocated customer area and identifying opportunities to grow our onsite fleet service work Working as part of the wider tyre shop team and supporting other areas when required About you Fit, energetic and physically capable of a hands-on role Excellent communication and customer service skills Able to work confidently and efficiently without direct supervision Reliable, punctual and well organised A team player who is willing to help wherever needed Comfortable working outdoors and in a variety of conditions Experience with agricultural, truck or commercial tyres would be an advantage A current full NZ driver licence essential Previous fleet tyre experience would be advantageous, but we are willing to consider the right person with the right attitude and mechanical/tyre experience If you’re reliable, customer-focused, enjoy being out on the road and take pride in getting the job done right, we want to hear from you. Experience with truck, agricultural or commercial tyres is an advantage, but the right attitude matters most.
