POSITION: SECONDARY COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER CAMPUS: 64 (BANGKOK, THAILAND) WEBSITE: https://anglosingapore.ac.th/64/ START DATE: September/October 2026 Job Summary Anglo Singapore International School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and academically strong Secondary Computer Science Teacher to join our Secondary team at the Sukhumvit 64 campus. The successful candidate will be capable of teaching Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level Computer Science, supporting students in developing strong computational thinking, programming skills, and conceptual understanding. This role is well suited to a teacher who can balance theoretical rigour with practical application, and who is confident engaging students with emerging areas such as robotics and artificial intelligence within the Cambridge framework. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level syllabi. Teach core areas including algorithms, data structures, programming, computer systems, networks, databases, and theory of computation. Develop students’ computational thinking, problem-solving ability, and analytical reasoning. Support practical programming using appropriate languages and environments relevant to Cambridge specifications. Integrate robotics, automation, and introductory AI concepts where appropriate, in alignment with Cambridge learning objectives and age suitability. Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments and external Cambridge examinations, including coursework and practical components where applicable. Assess, track, and monitor student progress, using data to inform teaching, differentiation, and targeted support. Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development, ensuring coherence and progression across year levels. Support or contribute to co-curricular STEM, coding, robotics, or technology-related activities. Maintain a positive, disciplined, and intellectually engaging classroom environment that encourages independent learning and responsible use of technology. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and expectations. Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and responsible use of digital technologies. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Secondary Computer Science (international or Cambridge experience strongly preferred). Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level Computer Science syllabi, including assessment requirements. Confidence teaching programming concepts, algorithms, and computational theory. Knowledge of robotics, automation, or artificial intelligence concepts appropriate to secondary education is desirable. Experience or familiarity with BTEC computing-related qualifications is an advantage. Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
