QLD Building Surveying Associate

About the Role We're partnering with a nationally recognised building surveying and BCA consultancy that is continuing to grow its Queensland operations. They're seeking a senior technical professional to lead the delivery of commercial projects across the state. This opportunity is open to both registered Building Surveyors looking to step into an Associate – QLD position and experienced Building Surveyors or BCA Consultants who are not yet registered but are ready to take on a Team Lead – QLD role. Working from home, you'll enjoy a true mix of 50% commercial building certification and 50% BCA consulting , while mentoring the local team, managing key client relationships and helping drive the continued growth of the Queensland business What's on Offer Fully remote role with genuine flexibility 50/50 split between commercial certification and BCA consulting Lead the Queensland technical team Strong pipeline of commercial projects National business with an outstanding reputation Clear pathway into senior leadership Key Responsibilities Manage commercial certification and BCA consulting projects from commencement through to completion Provide technical advice on the NCC, Queensland legislation and Australian Standards Review and assess documentation for compliance Issue statutory approvals and certifications (Associate role) Mentor and develop Building Surveyors and technical staff Build strong relationships with clients, councils, architects and consultants Assist with business development and client growth throughout Queensland Maintain high technical and quality assurance standards About You Associate – QLD Current Queensland Building Certifier registration (A1, A2 or A3) Extensive commercial building certification experience Strong knowledge of the Building Act, NCC and Queensland legislation Previous leadership or mentoring experience Team Lead – QLD Extensive commercial Building Surveying or BCA Consulting experience within Queensland Strong knowledge of Queensland legislation and the NCC Leadership experience or a desire to move into leadership Excellent communication and client management skills About the Company Our client is a highly respected national consultancy specialising in building certification, building surveying, BCA consulting and compliance advisory services .
