Building Surveyor for Commercial Building Inspections

THE ROLE Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Building Surveyor (Inspections) to join the Sydney team. This is a site-focused role , working across a range of commercial projects , carrying out inspections and ensuring compliance throughout the construction lifecycle The position is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being on-site and working closely with builders, contractors, and stakeholders The role will involve: Conducting on-site inspections across commercial projects Ensuring compliance with the NCC and relevant legislation Working closely with builders and project teams Reporting on compliance and providing practical guidance Supporting the certification process through inspection stages ABOUT YOU Experience in commercial building surveying (essential) Licensed Building Surveyor (NSW) preferred, OR working towards Strong knowledge of the NCC and relevant legislation Comfortable working in a site-based environment Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders on-site Practical, solutions-focused mindset WHAT’S ON OFFER Site-focused role with strong project exposure Work across a variety of commercial (Class 2–9) developments Join a modern, growing consultancy Support for licensing and career progression THE COMPANY Our client is a modern, forward-thinking building certification consultancy , accredited with the NSW Government as a Building Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority .
