You will be working alongside a dedicated and supportive team and reporting to our Business Manager. The suitable applicant must have a minimum of 3 years management accounting experience or school accounting experience along with payroll processing experience in NZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing and monitoring the annual operating and capital budgets Completing month end and year end accounts processes Overseeing the annual external audit process Maintaining fixed asset registers Oversight and processing of payroll function Oversight of accounts functions We want to hear from you if you: Have a minimum of 3+ years management accounting and/or school accounting experience in NZ Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting, budgeting and risk management NZ payroll processing experience and a sound knowledge of NZ payroll legislation Proficient at using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to prioritise work and multi-task An approachable manner and effective communicator with a range of people High level of integrity, confidentiality and honesty This position is a term time only position, five days a week 8am to 4pm plus additional hours where required during the school holidays.
