About the role An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Veterinarian to join an independently owned small-animal practice in Benalla, North-Eastern Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a rewarding clinical role with genuine work-life balance, strong remuneration and the potential to become involved in the future ownership of the practice. The position would also suit an overseas-qualified veterinarian who is eligible to obtain Australian registration and practise as a veterinarian, with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate. Key responsibilities Provide comprehensive small-animal veterinary care Work with a 100% small-animal caseload Manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases Perform ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography and dental procedures Conduct surgical procedures in dedicated surgical facilities Work alongside an experienced senior veterinarian and veterinary nursing team Collaborate with experienced veterinary nurses with interests across surgery, orthopaedics, neonatal care and senior pet medicine About you A qualified and registered veterinarian, or eligible for Australian registration Experienced in small-animal practice Confident with general medicine and surgery Passionate about patient and client care A strong communicator and team player Interested in developing a long-term career Potentially interested in equity and future ownership Overseas veterinarians requiring sponsorship are encouraged to enquire About us The practice provides comprehensive small-animal veterinary care with excellent in-house facilities, including ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, in-house laboratory and dedicated surgical facilities. You will work alongside an established team, including a senior veterinarian with more than 30 years' industry experience and experienced veterinary nurses with interests across surgery, orthopaedics, neonatal care and senior pet medicine. The practice is independently owned.
