Casual Industrial Technician – Tokoroa Casual | Shutdown & Project Work Come join our Tokoroa team. We’re looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our casual technician pool, supporting shutdowns and project work across the Central North Island. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working in industrial environments. You’ll be involved in a range of specialised services including: High-pressure water blasting Vacuum loading operations Catalyst handling and industrial cleaning Equipment setup, mobilisation, and maintenance Work is project-based and can involve travel and short-notice call-outs , including extended hours during shutdowns. What the role involves: Assisting with setup and operation of industrial equipment Working in confined spaces and high-risk environments (with training) Completing permits, JSEA/JSA, and site paperwork Participating in toolbox meetings and safety processes Cleaning, maintaining, and checking equipment Following strict HSE requirements at all times What we’re looking for: Reliable and shows up ready to work Physically fit and comfortable with hard, hands-on work Good attitude and willing to learn Flexible – able to work varied hours and travel when required Strong focus on safety Bonus if you have: Industrial experience (hydroblast, vacuum, labouring, civil, etc.) Confined Space or Working at Heights Class 2–4 licence What we offer: Casual work with ongoing opportunities Training in specialised industrial services Supportive team environment If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and not afraid of hard work, we want to hear from you.
