Electrician

Qualified Electrician We're looking for a qualified and registered Electrician to join a well-established Christchurch electrical company with a strong reputation for delivering quality work. You'll enjoy a varied workload across residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout Canterbury, giving you the opportunity to put your skills to work in a supportive and professional team. Location: Canterbury Start date: As soon as you're ready Pay rate: $36–$40 per hour What you'll be doing Complete electrical installations and fit-outs across residential, commercial, and industrial projects Install, test, maintain, and commission wiring, switchboards, lighting, and electrical systems Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and construction drawings Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs Ensure all work complies with current New Zealand electrical regulations and health and safety standards Deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining accurate job documentation What you'll need NZ Electrical Registration with a current EWRB Practising Licence At least 5 years of electrical experience in residential and/or commercial environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical plans High attention to detail with accurate paperwork A strong commitment to health and safety Your own hand tools A reliable work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team What's in it for you Ongoing work with a strong pipeline of projects Variety across residential, commercial, and industrial sites Opportunity to join a respected Christchurch electrical contractor Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and development Weekly pay Why work with Tradestaff?
