Join a Team That Builds New Zealand's Critical Fuel Infrastructure Carlyon Industries is a leading specialist in fuel infrastructure, stainless steel pipework, tank systems, generator fuel systems, and industrial fabrication. We design, manufacture, and install projects throughout New Zealand for major commercial, aviation, transport, and government clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Pipe Fabricator/Welder to join our Hamilton team. This is a varied role combining workshop fabrication with installation work on sites across New Zealand. If you enjoy building high-quality stainless systems and do not mind getting out on site and travelling, we would like to hear from you. About the Role Your work will include: Fabricating stainless steel pipework and assemblies TIG welding stainless steel tube and pipe to a high standard Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and isometrics Workshop fabrication of fuel systems, skids, and associated equipment Site installation of stainless pipework throughout New Zealand Pressure testing and commissioning pipe systems Working safely in industrial, commercial and fuel industry environments Maintaining exceptional quality standards and workmanship What We're Looking For You will ideally have: Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel pipe Strong fabrication and pipe-fitting skills Ability to read fabrication drawings High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Good problem-solving ability A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Full New Zealand driver's licence Ability to travel and work away from home when required The following would be an advantage: AS/NZS 2980 or equivalent welding qualifications Experience with fuel systems, process piping, or pressure pipework Site Safe Passport EWP, Working at Heights, or Confined Space qualifications Forklift or Dogman/Rigging experience What We Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience – Relocation assistance can be provided for the right applicant Overtime opportunities Travel allowances and accommodation provided for away work Modern workshop and equipment Varied and interesting projects across New Zealand Ongoing training and career development Supportive team environment Stable, full-time employment with a growing company Why Carlyon Industries?
