Debt Recovery Paralegal

NV Lawyers is the commercial litigation arm of the NV Group (New View), a group of debt collection businesses with offices in Sydney CBD (Australia), Auckland (New Zealand) and Manila (Philippines). The group's expansive client base extends from large household names, the government and small business. NV Lawyers is seeking to employ a Debt Recovery Paralegal with collections experience to assist with the performance of the following tasks:- Collecting unpaid commercial debt Building and maintaining client relationships General management and running of files Drafting and filing legal documents Devising and implementing enforcement strategies Drafting customer and client correspondence Negotiating settlements Interaction with customers Seeking instructions from clients Addressing all client requirements The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, good self organisation and a desire to take responsibility for running their own files and meeting deadlines. Collections experience is essential. The position will suit a seasoned Debt Recovery Paralegal, a Debt Recovery Paralegal seeking career advancement or a collector seeking to expand their career.
