Registered Electrician – Empire Electrical Services (Auckland) About the role Empire Electrical Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Electrician to join our team in Auckland. This full-time, permanent position involves delivering high-quality electrical installation, maintenance and repair services across a diverse range of commercial, residential, heritage and stadia environments. You’ll be part of a professional team that values safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service. What you’ll be doing Carrying out a wide variety of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently Completing electrical inspections and certifications in line with regulatory requirements Ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards Servicing and maintaining systems in commercial, residential, stadia and heritage venues Working with lighting controls, automation systems, power factor correction equipment, and other commercial technologies Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all electrical systems Providing friendly, professional customer service Maintaining accurate records, job sheets, and documentation Supporting the ongoing growth and development of the business Being available to work some weekends and after-hours as required What we’re looking for A current New Zealand Registered Electrician qualification 3–5+ years’ experience as a qualified Registered Electrician Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities Proven experience across a broad range of commercial systems (lighting controls, automation, PFC, etc.) High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A clean and current driver’s licence Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude What we offer At Empire Electrical Services, we are committed to supporting our team and helping each person reach their full potential.
