We have been operating in New Zealand since 2003 and continue to grow. An opportunity has become available for a Yard Hand / Driver to join our team in Penrose. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of our yard, including loading and unloading trucks, preparing and organising scaffolding equipment, and delivering and collecting equipment from sites. You will need to be physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling and lifting of scaffolding equipment. A positive attitude, reliability and the ability to take and follow instructions are essential. Key responsibilities include : Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Organising, sorting and maintaining scaffolding equipment in the yard Delivering and collecting scaffolding equipment from sites Assisting the team with general yard duties Ensuring equipment and materials are secured correctly for transport Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment Following all health and safety procedures and instructions Key requirements : Current Class 1 or Class 2 driver's licence Current Forklift licence/ticket Good English speaking and writing skills Physically fit and able to lift and move scaffolding equipment Able to understand and follow instructions Reliable, punctual and hardworking Strong commitment to health and safety Previous yard, driving, scaffolding or construction experience would be an advantage At Upright Access, we believe in providing our staff with opportunities to develop their skills and progress within the company.
