About the role You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of roofing and roof restoration works across residential properties. You will work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Key responsibilities Undertaking roofing installations and roof repairs, including re-screws, flashing installations, gutter repairs/replacement, leak investigations and repairs, replacement of battens and sheeting, installation of dry pan flashings and Aqua seals, and occasional re-roofs Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers as required, in conjunction with the Operations team Carrying out scoping and pricing of works alongside our Sales and Operations teams Communicating professionally with clients and homeowners as required Ensuring all work complies with NZ Building Code and relevant standards Maintaining tidy and safe work sites in line with Health & Safety and company standards Ensuring any asbestos-related work is carried out in accordance with company policies, protocols, and training (training can be provided if not currently certified) Keeping job management systems updated and compliant About you Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) – Roofing (preferred) Proven roofing experience, ideally within the residential sector Experience with metal tile and decramastic tile roofs (highly desirable) Strong attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Commitment to Health & Safety best practice Full, clean Driver's License (required) About us We are a well-established roof restoration company servicing the Canterbury region, with a strong focus on high-quality residential work.
