Finance & Systems Manager

About the role This is a hands-on part-time position of approximately 10–15 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday. You'll work closely with management, sales and operations and take responsibility for key areas of the finance function. The role will initially be remote, with the intention of moving into an office environment in the Silverdale or Albany area in the near future. Key responsibilities Deposit invoicing Accounts receivable and proactive debtor management Accounts payable and supplier payments Payroll GST Month-end processes and reconciliations Cashflow forecasting SKU management, updates and ongoing improvements Foreign currency transactions and reconciliations Financial aspects of importing and exporting About you Solid experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or finance management role Strong Xero/accounting system experience Experience with payroll, GST, AP, AR and month-end Understand cashflow forecasting Experience dealing with foreign exchange and foreign currency transactions Comfortable working within an import/export business Highly accurate and organised Communicate confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues Comfortable picking up the phone when that's the quickest way to solve something Enjoy systems, technology and process improvement About us SlipSafe New Zealand is a growing business specialising in slip testing, slip prevention and anti-slip solutions for commercial, industrial and residential environments throughout New Zealand.
