Qualifications & Experience: NZ Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent) 2+ years of NZ public practice accounting experience CA qualified or working towards completion Strong technical knowledge across financial reporting and taxation Experience managing a portfolio of clients Excellent communication and relationship management skills NZ citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid NZ work visa What you'll be doing: As a Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while working closely with Managers and Directors to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns Managing a portfolio of privately owned business clients Providing practical business advisory and taxation solutions Building strong, long-term client relationships Assisting clients with business planning and commercial decision-making Supporting and reviewing the work of Intermediate Accountants Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver exceptional client outcomes What's in it for you?
