Step into a frontline enforcement role making a real impact in the Waipā community. Ideal for candidates with a Police, Defence, Corrections or regulatory background. About the role This is a varied, hands-on role delivering Council’s enforcement functions, across: Bylaw breaches and complaint investigations District Plan Rule breaches and complaint investigations Resource consent monitoring and compliance Parking enforcement and managing road corridor encroachments You’ll work across the district, balancing education and relationship building with firm, fair enforcement action where required. What you’ll bring Experience in enforcement, compliance or investigative roles Proven investigation, documentation and report writing skills Strong judgement, communication and conflict management skills A resilient, practical approach and confidence working in the field Why join us?
