We’re now looking for a Credit Controller/Senior Credit Controller (depending on skills and experience) to play a key role in supporting our financial performance and customer partnerships. The Role This is a pivotal position responsible for managing a large, high-volume debtor portfolio, ensuring strong cash flow performance, and minimising credit risk. You will work as part of a close-knit team of three, collaborating closely with our Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure seamless business operations while contributing to our commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : · Manage and take ownership of a high-volume customer ledger · Drive collections to achieve monthly targets and optimise cash flow · Build strong relationships with customers to support timely payments · Resolve billing queries and disputes efficiently · Perform complex account reconciliations · Assess credit risk and recommend limits · Negotiate payment plans and monitor adherence · Prepare aged debt reporting and performance insights · Maintain accurate records within WastEdge (operations system and AR ledger) · Support month-end Accounts Receivable processes · Identify rends and opportunities to improve credit processes About You You’re a proactive, results-driven credit professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams. What you’ll bring: · 3+ years' experience in Credit Control and/or Accounts Receivable (5+ years preferred for Senior Credit Controller appointments). · Proven experience managing large Trade and Commercial ledger. · Industry experience is preferred, with WastEdge system experience considered an advantage. · Strong debt recovery and dispute resolution skills · Experience working to KPIs and collection targets · Excellent communication and negotiation capability · High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred) · Strong experience with WastEdge · ERP system exposure (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) · Strong reporting and anlaytical capability This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Green Gorilla – New Zealand’s highly successful independent recycling and waste company that sets the trends of waste services in our country.
