Qualifications & experience Previous demonstrated experience operating earthmoving plant/machinery in similar environments Minimum 1-2 years of earthmoving plant/machinery experience required An understanding of Work Safety and Health, and ability to understand and follow operating procedures and instruction. Commitment to working in a safety-conscious environment. We are looking for a Plant Operator who can keep accurate daily records of Plant Equipment to ensure optimal production levels. You will be required to communicate with Clients, Supervisors and co-workers. Valid White Card and unrestricted right to work in Australia Experience operating various plant ranging from Excavators, Loaders, Bulldozers, Rollers, Graders and Dump Trucks. Demonstrated experience operating at least 2 different types of plant equipment from the range of Excavators, Loaders, Bulldozers, Rollers, Graders and Dump Truck All mandatory high risk work licences required for plant equipment operation Tasks & responsibilities Preparing & positioning machinery prior to operation Choosing, fitting, operating and removing any attachments Using controls to operate machinery and perform tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring that safety and environmental rules are strictly adhered to. Manoeuvring machinery to, from and around work sites A current C class (standard) car licence is required for travel to various work sites with no restrictions Monitoring gauges and controls to ensure machinery is operating correctly, completing pre-inspections and 103's. Working from drawings, specifications and verbal instruction Work on various project sites in a variety of industries, from civil earthmoving, mining to private earthworks.
