About the role This is an accounting role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. The role involves daily transaction recording, invoice processing, account monitoring, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision-making. Key responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records Record daily transactions, receipts, payments, expenses, and bank transactions Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and related accounting documents Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations Reconcile company accounts, payment records, collections, and disbursements Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Prepare cash flow reports and monitor the company's cash position Assist with annual audit preparation and prepare schedules and reconciliations Ensure proper documentation and approval procedures are followed About you Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years relevant accounting/finance experience Experience with full set of accounts Familiar with SQL Accounting or similar accounting software Good knowledge of bank reconciliation, AP, AR and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel Good attention to detail and strong numerical skills Able to work independently and meet deadlines Experience in financial services, lending, or credit financing would be an advantage
