Traffic Controllers - Porirua - $25 ph

About the role We are currently seeking traffic controllers for contract work. The traffic yard is based in Judgeford, Haywoods. However, you may be required to travel throughout the Wellington region for work on various sites. This is a physical role which will require you to stand on your feet and set up and pack up sites that will require you to lift signs/stands that weigh up to 15kgs. If you have zero traffic management experience, no worries, we will provide you with on-the-job training. Key responsibilities Set up and pack up traffic management sites Lift and handle signs/stands that weigh up to 15kgs Travel throughout the Wellington region to various work sites Work day or night shifts as assigned About you A full NZ class 1 licence with no restrictions Your own vehicle to travel to site Can undertake and pass drug testing A sense of pride in your work A general interest in learning more about traffic management Available for work from Monday to Friday including some Saturdays Hospitality or customer service experience (preferred) Benefits Weekly pay Day or night shift, you choose what shift suits you Both short to medium term contracts available On the job paid training and ongoing support in your role On call work available for those flexible to work from Monday to Friday including Sunday
