Account Executive

About the role LMY Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an Account Executive to join our dynamic accounting team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This position is based in our Malaysian support office, AM PLANNING SDN BHD, and works closely with our Sydney team to deliver accounting and taxation services to Australian clients. Key responsibilities Performing bookkeeping tasks including invoice processing, expense tracking, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance Preparing financial statements and reports for clients in a timely and accurate manner Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Assisting with payroll administration and tax compliance documentation Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues promptly Maintaining detailed and organised records for all client transactions Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks as required Ensuring all work meets compliance requirements and company standards What we're looking for Qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Proven experience in bookkeeping, small practice accounting or similar accounting support roles Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices and financial reporting standards Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team member Professional demeanour and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality Knowledge of Australian tax and accounting regulations is advantageous What we offer We are committed to providing a supportive and professional working environment where your contributions are valued.
