Qualified Builder

About the role This is a full-time position reporting directly to the contracts manager, working closely with other key members of the team. The role involves providing building, carpentry and labouring services as required and directed by the Employer. You will be working on commercial and residential builds in a dynamic team environment. Key responsibilities Handle carpentry materials Use carpentry tools and equipment Carry out general demolition of minor building structures Carry out setting out and levelling operations Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry Plan and organise work Conduct workplace communication Carry out measurements and calculations Read and interpret plans and specifications Carry out excavation and use explosive power tools About you Experienced builder with a minimum of 3 years experience NZ trade qualified and finished high school Minimum of 3 years experience working within all aspects of commercial and residential builds Good at general tasks as well as having the finishing touches Knowledge about the tools and machinery needed to carry out your job Punctual and take pride in yourself Drive to grow within the business and thrive on feedback Enjoy working in a dynamic team About us We are a well-established, progressive commercial building as well as earth works business known for delivering excellent project outcomes in a friendly and professional environment.
