About the role Join the team at Crawford Civil Pty Ltd as an All rounder, (leading hand, plant operator) . In this full-time role based in Tocumwal NSW 2714 , you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction activities and plant operation on site. This is a key supervisory position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality projects for our valued clients, . What you'll be doing Leading a team of civil construction workers, delegating tasks and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards Plant operation Plan implementation, supervise land development and subdivision projects Coordinate and schedule construction activities to maximise efficiency and meet project timelines Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and clients to provide updates and address any issues that arise Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team as needed Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction processes and techniques What we're looking for Significant experience as an all rounder (leading hand, plant operator) in the civil construction industry, ideally within the foreperson/supervisors sub-field Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges on site Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials and equipment Commitment to workplace health and safety Relevant industry certifications or qualifications What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career development and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment with flexible work arrangements Employee social events About us Crawford Civil is a family owned and operated Civil Construction business based in the southern Riverina, NSW, on the banks of the Murray River with beautiful beaches, great water sports and is a popular tourist destination. 3hrs drive north of Melbourne, 3hrs from snow fields, 6hrs to the east coast.
