ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT (AP/AR)

Job Responsibilities Handle full set of Accounts Payable (AP) functions Process supplier invoices, debit/credit notes, and ensure proper documentation Perform 3-way matching (PO, DO, Invoice) before posting Prepare and process supplier payments (cheque, bank transfer, online payment) Ensure all payments are made within the credit terms Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain proper filing and records of all AP documents Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and disputes Assist in monthly closing, accruals, and reporting Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and internal departments Able to handle payment vouchers Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by management Requirements Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 1–2 years experience in Accounts Payable or similar role Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, SAP, etc.) Good knowledge of basic accounting principles Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred (Advantage) Experience in F&B / Central Kitchen / Retail industry Knowledge in handling high-volume invoices Familiar with SST / tax compliance Key Skills Time management Organization and filing Problem-solving Teamwork
