Operations Manager

RFS Projects is a leading residential builder on Tasmania’s North-West Coast, delivering homes, unit developments, and operating car wash and storage businesses. We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our teams, drive accountability, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. About the Role You’ll oversee operations across the business, including: 4 Project Managers, 3 Drafting staff, and Admin team Indirect oversight of ~38 employees and subcontractors You’ll be responsible for: Driving operational performance and team accountability Managing project delivery, timeframes, and budgets Overseeing job profitability, variations, and financial outcomes Planning resourcing and managing capacity across projects Ensuring systems, processes, and WHS compliance are followed About You Proven experience in construction or operations management Strong commercial and financial understanding Experience leading multiple teams or departments Confident holding others accountable and solving problems Highly organised and systems-focused What’s On Offer Competitive Salary + super (based on experience) 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off) Company vehicle Senior leadership role with real impact on business performance For a copy of the position description or further information please email justine@rfsprojects.com.au
