Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic Full-Time | Permanent Position Silverdale, Auckland Are you an experienced and qualified mechanic looking for your next opportunity? We are a busy, family-owned automotive workshop in Silverdale and are looking for a motivated, reliable, and skilled technician to join our friendly team. This is your chance to work in a fun, supportive, and well-equipped workshop where quality workmanship and customer service are highly valued. About the Role We service and repair a wide range of vehicles, working on all makes and models. Your day-to-day duties will include: Vehicle servicing and maintenance Diagnostics and fault finding General mechanical repairs Cam-belt replacements Brake and clutch repairs Suspension and steering repairs Tyre fitting and repairs Other general automotive repair work What We're Looking For The successful applicant will have: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanic or an automotive qualification Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models Good computer skills Excellent time management and organizational skills A positive attitude and strong work ethic The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Pride in keeping a clean and tidy workspace A willingness to help the team wherever needed Excellent communication and customer service skills An interest in new technology and a willingness to attend ongoing training, including electric vehicle training A current Warrant of Fitness (WoF) Inspector License would be an advantage, but we are happy to support the right applicant in obtaining their WoF certification.
