About the role A hands-on role working with gardening tools, equipment and outdoor maintenance. You'll work independently and deal directly with customers, visiting them to assess requirements, provide quotes, and carry out work to a high standard. Key responsibilities Working with a range of gardening tools, equipment and machinery Visiting customers and assessing their requirements Providing quotes and estimates for jobs Carrying out hands-on work and ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard Loading, transporting and handling equipment safely Driving a manual ute and towing a trailer between jobs Managing your workload and keeping customers updated Ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally About you Previous experience working with gardening tools, equipment or outdoor machinery Good practical and mechanical understanding Confident driving a manual vehicle Restricted or full NZ driver's licence Good communication and customer service skills Able to confidently discuss jobs and provide customer quotes Reliable, organised and able to work independently Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Benefits Ongoing full-time hours Variety in your day – no two jobs will be exactly the same A hands-on role with plenty of customer interaction Opportunity to use and develop your knowledge of gardening equipment Potential for long-term career development
