VETERINARY CLINIC NURSE/TECHNICIAN

About the role Nam Sang Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Clinic Nurse/Technician to join our team in the Novena Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality animal care and support to our veterinary surgeons. As a Veterinary Clinic Nurse/Technician, you will be at the heart of our clinical operations, ensuring animals receive excellent care whilst supporting our clinical and surgical teams in providing the best possible outcomes for our patients. What you'll be doing Assisting veterinary surgeons during surgical and clinical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care Performing clinical nursing duties such as wound care, medication administration, and monitoring patient vital signs Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood draws, urinalysis, and other diagnostic specimens Maintaining and sterilising surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with clinical protocols Preparing operation theatres and ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available for procedures Providing nursing care and emotional support to animals during their stay at the clinic Educating pet owners on animal health, care requirements, and post-treatment instructions Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for all patients Assisting with radiography and other diagnostic imaging procedures Supporting the reception and front-of-house team during busy periods Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic clinic environment What we're looking for A diploma or certification in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technology from a recognised institution Proven experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common veterinary procedures Excellent manual dexterity and ability to handle animals with care and confidence Proficiency in laboratory techniques and ability to use veterinary diagnostic equipment Outstanding communication skills with both colleagues and pet owners A genuine passion for animal welfare and well-being Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate medical records Flexibility to work during peak periods and adapt to the demands of a clinical environment A proactive approach to professional development and continuing education within the veterinary field What we offer Nam Sang Veterinary Clinic is committed to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace for our team.
