Description: Warner Fencing and Gates is a growing national business, focused on manufacturing and installing residential and commercial fencing, gates and balustrades. We pride ourselves on producing and installing NZ made products that are tailor made for each customer. These products are made by us in our Christchurch factory and then installed by our branches and distributors throughout NZ. Our success is on the back of a good team, a good environment, and an ambition to do well. The Role: It is a full-time permanent role based with our manufacturing team in Christchurch, it will report to the Factory Manager and is a vital part of our manufacturing team. At our factory in Christchurch, we manufacture gates, fences and balustrades out of aluminium and galvanised steel. These are customised to our customer’s needs, so it’s very rare to have any two jobs the same! Responsibilities will include: Responsible for reviewing, coordinating, preparing materials and fixing / welding materials. Responsible for quality control of your job. About You: The successful applicant will have the following experience. 1. Experience in MIG welding with aluminium and silicon bronze with galvanised steel Note a welding ticket is not essential, and we will supply all your tools The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills. 1. A practical mind and enjoyment in piecing together (with designs) different fences and gates every day. 2. A good level of experience in welding thin gauge aluminium 3. Attention to detail, and pride in your work 4. Good communication skills and team player This is a rare opportunity to join a proud, passionate, and dedicated team within a stable business that values people.
