About the role We are seeking a Middle or Senior level backend engineer to work in an agile team building and developing features and technologies across the Java stack, primarily focused on Spring Boot. You will be involved in CI/CD deployments on a Kubernetes-based platform, both on premises and on multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS), and contribute to creating a company culture that attracts, retains, and coaches other engineers. As a senior engineer, your primary deliverable will be developing more senior engineers. Key responsibilities Build and develop features and technologies across the Java stack, primarily focused on Spring Boot Work on CI/CD deployments on a Kubernetes-based platform, both on premises and on multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS) Participate in and help create a company culture which attracts, retains, and coaches other engineers Learn and work with new technology, and create effective use of this in the business Be involved in the technical design for applications Provide technical support for production incidents, identify root cause, and provide solutions to fix issues Pro-actively research and determine industry best practices in software design and integration solutions Maintain the project technical vision clear for everyone, from beginning to end Answer technical questions that the team or stakeholders have Help the team resolve difficult engineering problems Review the decisions the team makes to ensure consistency and alignment with the vision Conduct design and code reviews About you 4-8 years of experience (Senior level) or 8-10 years (Lead level) Backend: Design, development, and operation of APIs using Java Spring Boot Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, J2EE, REST/JSON, OpenID connect, OAUTH2 Extensive knowledge of object-oriented software development, networking, memory management, and software testing Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders Experience with Core Java 8, 11, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, NetflixOSS Experience with API Gateway Experience with Agile and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies Familiarity with containers and their technologies such as Docker Benefit Group Insurance Hybrid work location (WFH & Office) Annual health check-up Annual salary increment by your growth Free snack and soft drink Company trip: domestic and international The office near BTS and MRT
