R2R Analyst - Accounting

About the role R2R Accounting professional responsible for overseeing general ledger operations and group consolidation reporting for assigned international markets. Serves as the primary financial contact for country leadership, successfully coordinating month-end closing activities, executing accurate account reconciliations, and leading strategic balance sheet reviews. Reports directly to senior R2R management Key responsibilities Prepare and post General Ledger entries according to company requirements such as provision for risks and charges and journal entries for adjustments Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet and trial balances for entities overseen Review summary of variations of provisions Prepare account reconciliations and follow up actions to ensure balance sheets are clean Work closely country chief accountants and country stakeholder for entities overseen Prepare and finalize reporting based on pre-defined schedules to ensure timely and quality package submission Manage quarterly closing and consolidation reporting for the hard closing period Review consolidation reporting with countries chief accountants and ensure issues are timely resolved Perform and ensure operational controls for General Ledger and Reporting as per requirements Ensure legal requirements and IFRS standards are respected About you A Degree in Accounting or finance-related field (professional qualification like ACCA/CPA is a plus). Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in accounting Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and regulations in Asia Solid knowledge of accounting process and practice, and ERP (SAP) system Experience in a multinational company or shared services organization strongly preferred Ability to manage complexity and dynamic business situations
