Senior Planners – Defence & Construction Projects - Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth Are you an experienced Senior Project Planner looking to work on complex Defence and major infrastructure projects? Successful Projects is seeking multiple Senior Project Planners to join our growing national Planning team. We are currently supporting major Defence and government projects across Australia, with an immediate requirement for planners to support project delivery in Adelaide . Candidates can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane or Perth - with those in Perth or Brisbane being willing to work in Adelaide for approximately three months during the initial stage of the engagement (upon commencement of your role). Travel specifics related to this initial assignment will be discussed during the recruitment process to ensure all candidates are fully informed. This is an CAREER-CHANGING opportunity to work on one of Australia's most highly regarded projects and working with a class leading planning consultancy, delivering planning, scheduling and project controls services to some of Australia's most significant organisations. About the Position As a Senior Project Planner, you will play a key role in the development, management and analysis of project schedules across major projects and programs. Your responsibilities will include: • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and master schedules • Perform schedule analysis, critical path assessments and progress reviews • Prepare and update project plans from concept through to delivery • Develop project controls reports, dashboards, S-curves and resource histograms • Identify schedule risks, constraints and opportunities • Support forecasting, earned value and project performance reporting activities • Facilitate planning workshops and stakeholder meetings • Manage schedule updates and reporting cycles • Liaise with project teams, clients and external stakeholders • Provide planning and scheduling advice to support project delivery and governance requirements • Coordinate, manage and control EOT claims, variation requests, RFI's and critical project deliverables (commercial and time related) About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential • Australian Citizen with full working rights in Australia • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline • Demonstrated at least 5 years of experience as a Project Planner or Senior Project Planner on Defence, infrastructure, construction, resources or major projects • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project (MSP) • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Excellent communication skills across written, verbal and stakeholder engagement • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams Desirable • Current Baseline Security Clearance • Previous Defence project experience Your Benefits • Competitive remuneration package • Critical project opportunities across Australia • Exposure to high-profile Defence and major infrastructure projects • Flexible working arrangements • Ongoing professional development and mentoring • Career progression opportunities within a growing national consultancy • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Supportive and collaborative culture • Recognition for high performance Interested?
