About the role This role involves handling cases with family and marital issues, running group work and programmes for couples undergoing marital stress, and running group work and programmes for children whose parents are undergoing marital issues. You will complete administrative tasks required for casework and counseling, be involved in setting up structures and processes within the department when necessary, and lead ad-hoc tasks and projects by the agency. You will work with partners and stakeholders, manage critical incidents and risks within cases, and provide field supervision for students on placement. Key responsibilities Handle cases and run group work programmes with family and marital issues Complete administrative tasks required for casework and counseling Be involved in setting up structures and processes within the department when necessary Lead ad-hoc tasks and projects by the agency Work with partners and stakeholders Manage critical incidents and risks within cases Provide field supervision for students on placement About you Possess a relevant qualification such as Bachelor, Post Graduate Diploma, or Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work At least 3 years relevant experience in the social service sector doing social work or counseling Registered counselor with SAC preferred Willing to learn and undergo trainings for marital and family counseling Willing to handle risk cases and critical incidents required in casework and counseling Good analytical skills with a critical mind A team player Able to multi-task and work independently
