About the role We are looking for an experienced, qualified Cabinetmaker to join our team. The role will involve manufacturing and assembling custom kitchens and cabinetry, interpreting plans and specifications, preparing jobs for installation, and working closely with the Factory Manager to ensure projects are completed accurately and to the required standard. Key responsibilities Manufacture, assemble, prepare and install custom cabinetry to a consistently high standard Support Kitchen installations and on-site work when required Read and accurately interpret plans, drawings and specifications Identify and resolve issues throughout the manufacturing and installation process Liaise effectively with the Factory Manager and wider team Maintain a professional, reliable and trustworthy approach when working in clients' homes and on site About you Trade-qualified Cabinet Maker with 4+ years' experience Proven experience and knowledge in Cabinet Making or Joinery Previous installation experience with kitchens or custom cabinetry High standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Reliable, organised and able to work independently when required Honest and dependable with a professional approach to your work Current New Zealand Driver Licence Forklift licence preferred but not essential Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience Monday to Friday work schedule Modern, well-equipped workshop Variety of custom residential, commercial and builder projects Supportive and experienced team environment Long-term opportunity within an established business Café lunch at the end of every month
