About the role We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial management activities. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring cash movements, coordinating key accounting schedules, and preparing reliable financial information for management review. The ideal candidate is analytical, organised, and comfortable managing multiple finance processes with a high level of accuracy and accountability. Key responsibilities Prepare and maintain journal entry, invoice, creditor, debtor, cash collection, and cash receipt and payment schedules. Maintain cash flow schedules and monitor cash inflows, outflows, and funding requirements. Prepare and update trial balance, balance sheet, and profit and loss schedules. Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly. Maintain prepayment schedules and ensure accurate recording and allocation of transactions. Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable information to support timely collections and payments. Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency across accounting records and supporting schedules. Prepare clear and timely financial reports, analysis, and updates for management review. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and relevant parties to resolve finance and accounting issues. Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure accounting schedules remain current and well-organised. Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting processes, and schedule management. What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an advantage. Several years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial management. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash-flow management. Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and priorities accurately. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Proactive, dependable, and able to handle confidential financial information with professionalism.
