Procurement Assistant (Cantonese and English Speaking)

Tsunami Sport is looking for an dynamic, hard working person to join our Production Team. Applicants should be multi-lingual with a positive approach and able to work in a team environment. A sporting background would be a plus but is not a must. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Follow up on purchase orders with vendors, factories, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure client expectations are met, orders are fulfilled accurately, and deliveries are completed on time. • Support and monitor the production and fulfilment process from pre-production through to shipment, ensuring products meet quality standards and any issues, delays, stock discrepancies, or supplier errors are resolved promptly. • Coordinate dropshipping processes across the business, including supplier setup, order fulfilment, system updates, and communication with internal teams and technology partners. • Maintain accurate product, supplier, pricing, stock, customer, and order information within internal systems and CRM software to support order tracking and communication workflows. • Organise shipment allocations, liaise with factories and suppliers to track orders, and ensure shipments reach their destinations in a timely manner. • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and managing merchandising, procurement, and process-related documents, including tech packs, order tracking records, sampling documents, reports, implementation timelines, and sample allocations for the Sales Team. • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on lead times, pre-production submissions, sample approvals, production updates, stock availability, supplier performance, and shipment follow-ups. • Assist in stock forecasting by reviewing sales trends, demand patterns, and seasonal requirements, and recommend stock levels or reorder points to help avoid shortages or overstocking. • Work closely with sales, customer service, purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to support smooth order fulfilment and effective day-to-day operations. • Ensure the warehouse is well maintained, organised, and kept in good working condition. • Support workflow improvements, and process enhancements to improve efficiency, control costs, and reduce fulfilment risks. • Liaise with customers to resolve shipping, delivery, or order-related issues in a timely and professional manner. • Support the wider team at key client events when required, such as sizing days, sports festivals, and other customer-facing activities. • Provide regular updates to the Production Team Manager and management team on order progress, implementation status, risks, supplier performance, and improvement opportunities. • Be available for occasional urgent production, dropshipping, or shipping follow-ups outside regular working hours when required. • Report to Production Manager REQUIREMENTS: • Diploma or above, preferably with a major in Textile and Clothing • At least 1-2 year experience in the garment industry • Able to work independently and under tight schedule • Good computer skills; i.e. MS Office including Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint and Word • Detail-oriented, with initiative to recommend improvements and amendments to existing procedures where this would offer benefits to your role and/or the company • Native, or very good command of, Cantonese is a must with a good command of written and spoken English and workable Mandarin • Good time-keeping OF ADVANTAGE TO AN APPLICANT: • Experience in Adobe Illustrator would be an advantage • Interested, or active participation, in sports • Understanding of B Corp and Tsunami’s key values This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level in a company that values and fosters its people through a fun working environment that has a great work life balance.
