Construction Cadet, Toowoomba, Permanent Looking to turn your studies into real-world experience? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, construction company with a strong national reputation. They're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cadet to join their hardworking team in Toowoomba on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone either currently studying Construction Management, looking to begin tstudying Construction (or a related discipline) or who has recently completed their studies to gain genuine industry exposure while building a long-term career with a business known for its down-to-earth culture and close-knit teams. Relocating to Toowoomba: This client is genuinely open to candidates from interstate or regional areas who are ready to make the move. If you're keen to relocate for the right opportunity, we want to hear from you Responsibilities: As a Cadet, you'll be involved in: Learning what happens on site (spending time with Site Managers / Supervisors) Maintaining and managing project registers, including variations, EOT, and procurement registers Assisting in the preparation of subcontracts and associated documentation Processing invoices Assisting with defect management Preparing monthly reports What you'll bring: Ideally Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related field, or current studies in this discipline Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Professional written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to work well in a team and use initiative when working independently Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels A down-to-earth, professional, and personable approach to your work What's on offer: A permanent role with a respected, family-owned construction business Hands-on experience across live, diverse projects A collaborative, inclusive, and people-focused culture with an open-door approach Ready to kick-start your construction career?
