About the Role We're looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain our organization's AI systems — from understanding business requirements to deploying models into production. You'll work with cutting-edge AI technology, including Generative AI, LLMs, and full-scale Machine Learning systems, and play a direct role in transforming how our organization works through technology. Key Responsibilities AI / Machine Learning Development Design and develop AI solutions such as chatbots, automated document analysis systems, prediction systems, computer vision, or recommendation systems based on business needs Build applications on Generative AI / LLM foundations, such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI agents, and integrations with leading model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) Perform data preparation, feature engineering, model training / fine-tuning, and model evaluation Deployment & MLOps Develop prototypes / POCs and drive them into fully functional production systems Build and maintain pipelines for training, deploying, and monitoring models Integrate AI systems with existing organizational systems via APIs and other integrations Quality & Safety Assurance Monitor and continuously improve model performance (accuracy, latency, cost) Design systems in line with Responsible AI principles, data security, and PDPA compliance Prepare technical documentation for developed systems Cross-functional Collaboration Analyze workflows with various departments to identify opportunities to improve efficiency with AI Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing on AI to the team Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML development or software development Experience shipping AI systems to production is a strong plus Technical Skills Python (required), SQL — JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus AI/ML frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Generative AI: LLM APIs, LangChain/LlamaIndex, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant) Cloud & infrastructure: AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker — Kubernetes and CI/CD experience is a plus Basic data management and ETL, comfortable working with databases Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and systematic thinking Able to communicate technical ideas clearly to general audiences Comfortable reading technical documentation in English (English communication skills are a plus) Fast learner, able to adapt quickly as AI technology evolves Why Join Us This isn't just a coding role — you'll help shape how AI is actually used across the organization. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
