Alloy Fabricator + Workshop Labourer

Join the skilled team at Metalcraft Engineering in Harewood. We're Metalcraft Engineering. For 30+ years we've built custom metalwork for jobs across NZ - architectural fitouts, engineered systems, one-off bespoke gear and full production runs. If it's aluminium, steel or stainless and it needs to be done properly, it comes to us. Right now, we need two people. 1. Alloy Fabricator / Fitter Hands-on, drawings-to-finished-product work across a wide mix of jobs. You'll be on the tools with an experienced crew that takes pride in the finish. You'll need: Solid experience as an alloy fabricator/fitter TIG and MIG on aluminium - confident, clean welds Able to read engineering drawings and cutting lists Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Nice to have: CNC milling Mild steel and stainless experience 2. Workshop Labourer The role that keeps the workshop moving. Material handling, simple cutting and fitting, processing materials, running deliveries, keeping the place tidy and safe. You'll need: A full driver's licence (truck licence a bonus) Physical fitness - this is a hands-on job Common sense, reliability, and a willingness to muck in Safety awareness Nice to have: Forklift ticket What you get from us A professional workshop where the standard is set high and the team backs each other.
