Estimator/Supervisor

About the Role As an estimator/supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing multiple insurance repair projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Conducting site inspections, assessments, reporting, and preparing quotations. Travelling throughout the Perth metro area and, on occasion, regional WA. Managing residential and commercial insurance building repairs from commencement through to completion. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and materials. Maintaining regular communication with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, strata managers, and customers. Managing project budgets, timelines, and quality outcomes. Identifying and resolving project issues before they impact service delivery. Providing timely project updates in accordance with client SLAs. Monitoring contractor performance and maintaining a reliable trade network. Ensuring compliance with company policies, WHS requirements, and Quality Management Systems. What we're looking for Prior experience in managing insurance claims (BAU & Major Loss) (preferred but not essential). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for decision-making under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Understanding of insurance policies and procedures, particularly for complex claims (preferred but not essential). Why Join WAIB?
