The General Manager (GM) reports directly to the General Committee and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring a high-quality service experience for all Members. The ideal candidate will have: Educational Background: University degree or equivalent, preferably in hospitality or recreation. Experience: Proven management and leadership experience in private clubs / hotels. Candidates with experience in a similar position will have a distinct advantage. Planning Skills: Knowledge and ability to develop both short-term and long-term planning for facilities management and sports development. Administrative Skills: Strong proficiency in finance, budgeting, capital planning, and internal controls. Food & Beverage Expertise: Comprehensive background in food and beverage management. Sports Knowledge: Familiarity with cricket and other sports would be an advantage. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in engaging a diverse membership of approximately 2,000 active members and over 160 staff and coaches.
